Pierrot Clown Pumpkin
Welcome to Day 18 of 31 Days of Halloween Crafts! Today we’ll be turning a pumpkin into an adorable Pierrot clown.
Materials:
- pumpkin
- felt
- pompoms
- pipe cleaners
- needle and thread
- acrylic paint
First, let’s paint the faces onto our pumpkin.
I’m sticking to a simple black and white theme with a sad face on one side and a happy face on the other.
Next, let’s give him a little hat. With the black felt, roll a corner into a cone shape and cut it off with a slight curve. Glue one side and roll it into a cone again.
Indent the tip so the hat isn’t so pointy.
Glue on some pom poms and attach a wreath of pipe cleaners for the base.
Glue the hat on the pumpkin.
Let’s give him a collar now. Cut two strips of white felt and paint a black border along one edge.
Glue them together into one long strip
Sew a basting stitch along the side that isn’t painted, gathering it into a circle.
Knot the thread and glue the two sides together to complete the ruff.
Place your pumpkin on top.
