Pizza Spirit Board Oct 2 Written By Amy Plante Welcome to Day 2 of 31 days of Halloween crafts! Today we're going to be making a pizza spirit board. Ingredients:- pizza dough- tomato sauce- finely shredded cheese- pepperoni- veggie toppings- alphabet cookie cutters- round cookie cutter Roll out your pizza dough to a cookie sheet size and prick it with a fork so that when you pre-bake it in the oven, it won’t inflate too much. Make sure you save a small bit of the pizza dough for the planchette. Pre-bake the dough for six minutes at 450 degrees Fahrenheit or 230 degrees Celsius. Roll out your small chunk of dough that you saved from before and cut out a circle with the round cookie cutter. Trace a heart around the circle with a knife. Use your toppings to make decorative designs around the planchette and prick with a fork and bake it as you did before, this time for eight minutes or until it's lightly golden. Use your alphabet cookie cutters to cut letters out of the pepperoni. You'll need a whole alphabet plus the words goodbye, yes, and no. It is really annoying to cut shapes out of pepperoni, but trust me it's worth the effort. Spread your pre-baked crust with tomato sauce, add the finely shredded cheese, pepperoni letters, and decorative elements with your toppings. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until it's melted, bubbly, golden and delicious looking. Add the planchette to the top for the best effect. Amy Plante
