Mini Black Cat Candy Pail (Gigi + Jiji) Oct 14 Written By Amy Plante Welcome to Day 14 of 31 Days of Halloween Crafts! Today we’re making a mini candy pail inspired by Gigi my cat and Jiji from the movie Kiki’s Delivery Service. Materials:- air dry clay- sculpting tools- wire- acrylic paint Start by kneading the clay to make it easier to work with. After that I rolled a chunk into a ball and began carving out the middle to make a vessel. Next, I added ears… …and used a carving tool to shape the eyes. Keep some water on hand to smooth out any cracks as you go. Don’t forget to poke holes on the sides to thread the wire through later. Let it dry for a couple days, then paint it as you wish. My cat has beautiful yellow eyes, so I want to capture that here. After everything is painted and dried, thread the wire through the holes you’ve made and you’re all finished. Amy Plante
