Horror Ladies Snapping Crackers

Welcome to Day 15 of 31 Days of Halloween Crafts! Today we’re making Halloween crackers inspired by a few of my favorite horror film ladies who famously snap.

Materials:

- cardboard tube

- crepe paper

- ribbon

- cracker snaps

- embellishments

- image of a horror lady

- adhesive

- whatever you want to fill your cracker with

Start by cutting a piece of crepe paper that is three times the width of your tube.

Add a piece of double stick tape or adhesive to one edge and roll up the tube.

Next, decorate your tube however you like. I’m using some lacy trim, but you could use washi tape, stickers, or anything sparkly.

Glue your image to the tube…

…and insert a cracker snap before cinching and tying one end closed.

Now the fun part, filling your cracker with goodies inspired by your horror lady. I think Pearl would like a replica of Theda…

…a pitchfork…

…and a little ax.

Close up the other side of your cracker and use scissors to fringe the ends.

I bet you're wondering what I put inside the other crackers. Carrie’s got some fake blood, a cross, and a candle.

Nancy’s got a spooky choker, a snake, and some black eye liner. Who is your favorite horror lady and what would you put in her cracker?
