Halloween Bad Spirit Chaser

Welcome to Day 28 of 31 Days of Halloween Crafts! Today we’re making spooky bad spirit chasers.

Materials:

- fabric

- beads

- bell

- string

- batting

- needle + thread or sewing machine

Trace a template onto the fabric and sew two layers together tracing the line you drew.

Make sure to leave a small opening so you can stuff the bat with batting.

Stitch the hole closed and any other details you want to add.

Cut around the stitch line.

I’m gluing on some beads for eyes, but add as much embellishment as you want.

Now we can string everything together. Tie a bell onto the string and add some beads.

Use a needle to insert the string into the bats.

Alternate beads and bats and finish the top with a loop. Hang in a doorway or anywhere you want to keep the spooks away from.
