All Of Them Witches Cocktail Oct 5 Written By Amy Plante Welcome to day 5 of 31 days of Halloween crafts! Today we're going to be making a spooky cocktail called All Of Them Witches (shout out to all of my fellow Rosemary’s Baby fans). For this cocktail you're going to need a cinnamon simple syrup which is really easy to make. You just need one cup of sugar and one cup of water. Simmer on the stove, stirring continuously until the sugar is dissolved, then add four to six cinnamon sticks that you've broken up. Give it a stir, turn off the heat, and let the syrup sit for at least an hour or up to six hours. Strain out the cinnamon sticks with cheese cloth and a sieve and your cinnamon simple syrup is ready to use in your cocktail. For the cocktail, first put a wet coupe glass into the freezer so that it's nice and chilled when your cocktail is ready. Shake these ingredients with ice:1 oz gin (Caorunn apple based gin is great for this)½ oz Calvados (apple brandy)½ oz fresh lemon juice½ oz cinnamon simple syrup Strain into a coupe glass and add the spooky garnish I showed you how to make yesterday. I love this cocktail; it's autumnal and anything in a coupe glass just feels right for Halloween to me. Amy Plante
